Ilya Karankevich is a Director on the CC&L Infrastructure investment team, where he is responsible for leading the origination and execution of new transactions. 

Ilya has more than 10 years of experience in the financial industry. Prior to joining CC&L Infrastructure in 2022, Ilya was an Associate Director at Scotiabank Global Banking and Markets, where he advised on a wide range of M&A and financing transactions, primarily in the energy and infrastructure sectors. Previously, Ilya held various positions with a Canadian oil and gas exploration and production company, performing project and asset management for various Canadian assets.  

Ilya earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Dalhousie University and a Master of Business Administration from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary.
