Ilya Karankevich is a Vice President on the CC&L Infrastructure investment team, where he is responsible for leading the execution and origination of new transactions.

Ilya has approximately 10 years of professional experience, with approximately 5 years of experience in the financial industry. Most recently, Ilya held a position of an Associate Director at Scotiabank Global Banking and Markets, where he advised on a wide range of M&A and financing transactions, primarily in the energy and infrastructure sectors. Previously, Ilya held various positions with a Canadian oil and gas exploration and production company, performing project and asset management for various Canadian assets.

Ilya earned a Master of Business Administration from the Haskayne School of Business at University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Engineering from Dalhousie University.
