Redbed Plains Wind Farm

Redbed Plains is a 99-megawatt wind farm located in northern Grady County, Oklahoma. The wind farm complements the area’s mixed agricultural production of cropland and pasture, providing a stable source of income to landowners and investing in the local community.

The project serves the East Texas Electric Cooperative and Northeast Texas Electric Cooperative, both not-for-profit generation and transmission cooperatives that provides electric power and services to their members. Redbed Plains’ delivers an important source of affordable renewable power to its customers and generates enough clean energy to meet the needs of more than 38,000 homes each year.
